...The Manic Street Preachers were artists that Tailteann’s founders greatly admired. One tenet of the seminal Welsh rock band’s audacious Mission Statement struck a particular chord – pour your heart and soul into a sole piece of art, and leave it at that. As the Manics were to later learn, this is infinitely easier to say than actually do.

...by various insiders (post-Bainisteoir), the temptation to remain at the forefront of the sector was unquestionably huge for Tailteann. When the opportunity to partner with the most soulful, magical and passionate Welsh institution of them all presented itself though, the required incentive to leave behind stability and sway, and begin another intoxicating voyage of self discovery was provided.



The INSTITUTION IN QUESTION WAS OF COURSE THE...





...Welsh Rugby Union, with Tailteann finding the conversion from sports simulation to the real thing to be the stuff of dreams. Forming a Scrum with the Union’s leading Coaching and Performance Staff, the Tailteann Elite Athlete Monitoring (TEAM) System soon made its mark. A golden era, which included the completion of three 6 Nations’ Grand Slams, followed for the rugby-mad nation.



hAVING WITNESSED AT FIRST HAND THE pretty METAMORPHIC IMPACT...





...the continuously evolving system had upon his Cymry charges, 2013 British and Irish Lions' Head Coach Warren Gatland extended an invite to Tailteann to join the tour’s back-room team. Unsurprisingly accepting it without a moment’s hesitation, Tailteann worked in tandem with Microsoft's finest to deliver the most complete sports science solution of its kind, which helped The Lions to record their only tour win in the past 20 years.
